A Brief Request To Theatermakers

From Isaac Butler:

I can’t remember a 100 minute show that I thought wouldn’t’ve been better at 90 or even 80 minutes in length, nor can I recall a two hour sans-intermission show that actually had enough worthy content for its running time.

  1. Gosh. Really? I can think of lots.

Surely the question isn’t length, but the quality of the theatre? Great theatre makes duration vanish; if it’s tedious, 45 minutes can be too long.
