Poetry, Music and a Short Play Read By Me

Have you always wanted to hear me reading a short play about an Eastern European poet/political dissident who corresponds with an American sixth-grader?

Well, you will soon get your chance, because I’ll be reading my short play Letters to an Old Poet at the next Portuguese Artists Colony reading.

As a bonus, you’ll also get to see new work by Daniel Heath — and if you know me, Dear Reader, then you probably know him, unless you are my father.

The sun is shining, birds are singing, and beautiful girls saunter by in short dresses. We should be content, but it’s not enough for us. Make the late spring of our discontent a glorious summer. Hear us demand more on Sunday, June 27 at 5 pm.

Featuring:
Poetry from Joel Landfield
A short play from Tim Bauer
Music from The Backyard Tarzans

Readings from Colonists:
Leslie Ingham
Daniel Heath
Caitlin Myer
Benjamin Wachs

It’s at Fivepoints Arthouse, 72 Tehama (south of Howard) at 2nd Street, SF, June 27 at 5pm. More here.
