Sheila Callaghan in The New Yorker

Thanks to Rob Weinert-Kendt for pointing out this tidbit: long-time Impact Theatre, Crowded Fire and Bay Area Playwrights Festival favorite Sheila Callaghan has finally been “discovered” by John Lahr and The New Yorker.

A pretty good review, but the fun part, as Rob points out, is the New Yorker-style caricature. Not quite a Hirschfeld, but it will do.

For New Yorkers: That Pretty Pretty; or The Rape Play by Sheila Callaghan, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, NYC, through March 15. Go because I can’t.
