I just found out that my friend Cass Brayton has a cool playwriting website with writing prompts, articles about craft, quotations from playwrights and lots of other great stuff. It’s called Standing Poem, based on the quote above. The “verbal ticklers” in particular will come in handy on those days when you need a little something to get your head into writing. Much better than warming up by surfing YouTube for an hour.
